While Realm-Net Hosting strives to provide the highest level of
availability, there may be times when your Web Site is not
available. In no case can Realm-Net Hosting be held liable for
damage which may occur as a result of the outage. This includes,
but is not limited to, financial damages from lost business and
loss or corruption of the files which make up your web site. You
are responsible for keeping a backup of your entire web site.
Outages Caused by External Factors
The Web Site Hosting Service which Realm-Net Hosting provides
is based complex communications and computer systems, most of
which are outside of Realm-Net Hosting's control. If an outage
is caused by one of these systems, credit for the down time may
be extended at the discretion of Realm-Net Hosting.
Equipment Failure
If an outage is caused by a software or mechanical failure of
equipment owned my Realm-Net Hosting, we will do all we can to
restore service as quickly as possible.
In some cases, it may be necessary to re-format or replace
the server which holds your web site. Should this occur, you
will be responsible for re-uploading your web site. You (or your
webmaster) will be contacted via phone, if possible, and via
e-mail should this become necessary.
You will be given credit for the time (rounded to the nearest
day) that your web site was unavailable. This will be done by
extending your due date by the number of days your web site was
down.
